We’re Mobile Too

The Willow Creek Care Center has enjoyed a few years at the South Barrington campus, providing food, clothing and other services to those in need in the Chicagoland area. Over the years, we have realized that there are many individuals and families who could benefit from our services, but aren’t able to get to our location.

That’s why the Care Center has gone mobile! We partner with local public schools and organizations to provide food to families in need who can’t come to us. What started out as the Love Everyone, Always truck is now the Mobile Care Center.

Volunteer Opportunities

Mobile Care Volunteer: Help provide food for families who visit our mobile sites out in the community. You will help create a welcoming environment and distribute food to each person who comes. The Mobile Care Center locations are in a variety of places within a 15 mile radius of the church.

Care Center Driver: Use your driving skills to transport the Mobile Care Center food truck to our community partner locations or to drive students in a large, church-owned vehicle between our pilot mentoring program at Willow and their school. We also have opportunities for drivers to assist the Care Center by picking up pre-arranged food donations at various grocers and other partner locations. A Class D license is needed based on driving role, but not necessary to start. Training is available.

If you are interested, sign up as a Mobile Care volunteer or a Care Center Driver.
