Culturally Responsive Foods
Over the year, the Care Center has become increasingly aware of the disparity between our food selection and the large number of Hispanic, Latinx and Eastern European guests that we serve.
In response to this, we offer Culturally Responsive Foods: these are safe and nutritious foods that meet the diverse tastes and needs of customers based on their cultural identity. The types of foods available include:
- Flavors & Seasonings: Garlic, Salt & Pepper, Garlic Powder, All Purpose Seasoning, Onion powder, Tajin, Turmeric, Coriander, Bouillon, Honey
- Rice: Long Grain Rice, Jasmine Rice, Brown Rice, Basmati rice
- Oils: Vegetable, Olive, Sesame
- Other Ingredients: Flax Seed, Masa Flour, Sugar
By offering an increased selection of cultural and ethnic foods, the Care Center hopes to offer a sense of familiarity, comfort, and belonging for our guests.

Delivering Hope
The Care Center is offering grocery delivery to vulnerable individuals and families who are feeling the effects of recent immigration activity and do not feel comfortable leaving home. Delivery orders includes a selection of fresh produce, dairy products, frozen meat, dry/canned goods, and bread.
