Culturally Responsive Foods
The Care Center has become increasingly aware of the disparity between our food selection and the large number of Hispanic, Latinx and Eastern European guests that we serve. The response to this gap was to introduce Culturally Responsive Foods–including rices, beans, oils, and seasonings–that meet the diverse tastes and needs of guests based on their cultural identity. By offering an increased selection of cultural and ethnic foods, the Care Center hopes to offer a sense of familiarity, comfort, and belonging for our guests.

Delivering Hope
The Care Center is offering grocery delivery to vulnerable individuals and families who are feeling the effects of recent immigration activity and do not feel comfortable leaving home. Delivery orders includes a selection of fresh produce, dairy products, frozen meat, dry/canned goods, and bread.
