Support and serve guests visiting the Hub
The Care Center is expanding its services to new locations across Chicagoland. The Care Center Hub at Willow Crystal Lake offers a select number of services that are also available at the Care Center in South Barrington, as well as resources that are unique to the local community.
- Hospitality: Greet new and returning guests while creating welcoming atmosphere through coffee/food service, art classes, & haircuts.
- Care Team: Meet with guests to qualify them for Hub services and refer them to community resources.
- Clothing: Launder & prepare donations for display in the Clothing Store, assist guests with purchases.
- Furniture (off-site): Assemble and set up furniture in guests’ homes.
- Bicycle: Repair donated bicycles to be given away to qualified individuals.
- Garden: Plant & maintain seasonal garden.
- Legal Aid: Offer guidance to our guests in one-on-one consultations, help them understand their options and next steps, and provide referrals. Experience as a professional attorney required.
- Employment Services: Meet one-on-one with guests to provide resume review, LinkedIn profile coaching, and interview preparation.
